Michael Holt

Michael has over 20 years of experience leading and managing project controls services and teams for central government, public sector and private sector clients with the education, transport, infrastructure and defence sectors.  He has supported numerous teams and projects, ranging from small and simple to expensive and complex, in:

-  building business cases, securing funding and winning bids, 

 - planning of projects using software such as Primavera P6

 - identifying, quantifying and handling risks using tools such as ARM and Primavera Risk Analyser

 - project delivery using organisation stage gate metholodologies

 - scoping, baseline management and change control

 - cost control and project reporting.

The discipline of project controls provides a structure to the management of a project by integrating the above disciplines and ensuring that cost, time and quality considerations are planned and managed effectively using tools and processes proportional to the size, novelty and complexity of the project.
