Scoping a project, and planning it in step-by-step, logically linked activities, is key to project success. It gives a clear baseline for performance, including an accurate likely delivery date, and gives information about the resources needed to achieve the goal.
Based on the agreed plan and resource profile, Transform-ED will provide a dedicated project manager to oversee and be accountable for all aspects of the work. This includes sourcing and bringing in specialists in particular academic areas where this is required.
Stakeholder management is critical to successful project delivery. The project manager will ensure that the important stakeholders are identified, kept briefed throughout the process, and that the finished product is handed over successfully into usage so that the benefits can be realised.
Transparent project reporting gives assurance to stakeholders and managers that the project is on track in terms of progress, delivery and the identification and resolution of any issues. The frequency and format of the reporting from Transform-ED is flexible depending on the size and complexity of the project.
