Research, Evaluation and Innovation

We don't guess - evidence informs our practice

We believe that research-informed learning & teaching enhances and enriches the knowledge of learners and can develop their research skills. Importantly, it can develop a culture that links research to pedagogy – this could be research-led, research-orientated, research-tutored, research-based teaching, and/or teaching-led research.

We are experienced in running pedagogic research conferences, writing retreats, facilitating research groups, organising seminars and 1:1 mentoring. We are particularly good at working with newer researchers in this field and supporting writing for publication.

We can work with you to develop a successful research environment  that promotes partnership and multi-layered forms of collaboration.

We have expertise in

  • Designing and running pedagogical research events

  • Designing, planning and evaluating projects (including action research, qual/quant/mixed approaches)
